Default Where to find a C5-R block for cheap?

Iam looking for a C5-R block new or used. Is it possible to find a new one for less than $6k?

You don't usually see the terms "cheap" and "C5R" in the same sentence... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Katech might have one, but it wouldn't stay on the market for long. A guy bought my used C5R heads and valves before I had a chance to even advertise them. C5R stuff seems to be hot!

Katech buys them from our GM sponsor SDPC, I think SDPC can do them for $6K.

Dealer cost on the C5R block was $5,300 a few months back.

Someone listed in the dealers coumputer with max discount could buy a C5R block for cost plus 10 percent or $5,800 plus tax.

That's the best deal I could find a while back.

So KaTech asking $6000 sounds about right to me for a new block.
