No need for a pissing match.I dont think you can go wrong with either one,GTP is great and so is TEA.I have seen both on the same flow bench and both are very comparable.
Good luck with whatever you choose.

SHUUUT UP!!! SHUT UUUUP!!!
AAARRRGGHH!!! You're driving the prices up with every vote for GTP!
STOP IT! STOP IT NOW!
I'll never be able to get new heads.

Re: Whats better TEA or GTP
There are a lot more people running GTP heads around than TEA heads. I don't think you would go wrong with the GTP heads, as they will probably make more power. However, how much more power and if it's worth the increase in price is still debatable.
If money was no object I would go with some GTP truck heads.

thier heads are amazing and still cost less than MTI and flow right there with them! you need better heads. i made over 385 RWHP through a big geared moser rearend with cam only and stock heads. go with GTP and spend the extra bucks. heads will always make power!

Re: Whats better TEA or GTP
I think theres more to it than just peak numbers.
The only way to properly compare both heads is to have two dyno graphs. One with TEA heads and the other with the same mods but with GTP heads. Even two people that have the same setup but dynoed in two different places would be difficult to compare because of different ambient conditions
Another way of comparing is posting flow numbers for both heads. I have read that TEA has great midrange flow and produces more power throughout the power band than others.
I think 10-20hp (for peak power) for the difference in the price is not worth it considering what I have stated above.

Re: Whats better TEA or GTP
Ordered my TEA heads today. I could not convince myself that the extra five to ten HP was worth another 1,400.00. Thats money well spent somewhere else. Also, I guess everybody gets their heads done for different reasons, I just wan't to run low 11's Na and hit the 10's with spray.

Re: Whats better TEA or GTP
scam, you're right.
TEA's are made to flow through the ENTIRE lift range not just top end. GTP are more just for great peak numbers. TEA's flow extremely well, especially for the money.
GTP seems to get ya 5-10 more peak, so it's just your preference. If you have a Daily Driver, I'd definately go TEA so it will be more fun around town . Save the 1400 and get more mods!!
