Never buy parts from Excessive Motorsports
I recenty tried returning a throttle body that I never used on my Lt1 Formula. They told me that they would have to send it in to be reconditioned and couldn't give me credit untill they got it back. At the time I thought no big deal just wait another month and boom the money is in my hand. THat was about 9 months ago, I finally talked to the manager and he pretty much told me to **** off. So I am out my money and my throttle body. They won't give me either back for the simple reason of, "get this" they switched owners and don't have to deal with anything they did before that date. Now I am not the smartest man in the world but I can tell you one thing, thats all sorts of fucked up. So please if not for my sake do it for yourself and buy your next performance part from anyone other then Excessive Motorsports.

I've never heard anything but bad stuff about them since I've been playing with F-bodies (since '95).
I would never even consider buying anything from them.

at the World Ford Challenge, there was a huge display that people donated sitting directly next to Excessive's booth that displayed hatred of that place! it was crazy. they have screwed over Ford guys so long that someone finally did somthing against them. yet, they have that huge advertisement and prey off of unsuspecting people! thier list of complaints in BBB is miles long!

hopefully one day they will get shut down. Now if I ever seen them at some event, I don't think they would be staying for the whole day.

Re: Never buy parts from Excessive Motorsports
I don't want to come across as a dumb *** but I don't want anyone to get them confused with Xcessive Performace. When I first got my Camaro I called around to price blowers the guys at Excessive Motorsports were DICKS. But the people at Xcessive Performance where extremely nice and actually acted like they gave a damn. There are only a handful of parts suppliers that I can deal with and it is only because of customer service. It may sound stupid but I will pay more to be treated nicely. IMO if you are a ***** then I would suggest getting out of business and comitting suicide.

I had a similar bad experience with them back in '97, and will never do business with them again. Sorry to hear you got screwed. Did you pay by card? If so, dispute the charge! Make them prove it.

Yea they screwed me too. I bought a Hurst shifter from there for my 96 Z28 and it took 4 months for it to make it to my house. I thought I was the only one that got screwed by them but I geuss I'm not. THEY SUCK!
