Will what be noticable? Sorry but without you quoting anyone directly, and so many things discussed in this thread, it's a little vague.

Sorry for the vagueness...
Will going from stock ls1 heads to the stock ls6 (243) ported make a difference?..(the 2.00/1.55 valves instead of the 2.02/1.57) How so?
Basically Im wondering if that is even worth the money.

I am pretty set on the G5X3 cam on 112 LSA and the Patriot ls6 "style" 2.00/1.55valve ported heads at 59cc. What do you think about that?
Thanks

Well, Predator-Z seems to have had better results from the Patriot heads than most. So I think if I were to spend that kind of money, I'd look at Dart, or some good regular old CNC'd 243s. They definitely make a difference.

Well I guess I dont understand the difference between the 243's and the ls6 'style'? Doesnt Patriot offer 243 CNC ported?

Yes, they have both.

LS6 "style" are 6.0 castings with welded chambers and choice of valves, chamber size and of course (CNCd).
243 castings are LS2/LS6 true castings, choice of valves, CNCd.

As I mentionned earlier, a X3 on 112 will fit 243 castings, unmilled with stock valves and stock casting. Those are 64cc chambers.

The LS6 "style" 59cc would fit but only with stock valves, X3 on 112 will not accomodate larger valves (safely)

Ok thanks. Im going with the 243 casting CNC'd.
Patriot said they recomend going with the 64cc milled to 62cc with a .041? gasket for 10.8:1 compression
But then LG recomended 59cc with a .040? size gasket for 11:1...but Patriot said it would actually be 11 1/2:1 which would be bad.

What is the stock cc's, gasket size and compression?
And at around what compression do you want to be at?
