Tune those to your liking.
Good luck John.

FWIW, ohm testing didn't help identify my cooked wires. Running poorly, rough idle, low voltage while at cruise were symptoms. Got so bad I was getting coil pack malfunctions eventually. Replacing a single pack and single wire didn't do it. Electrical coil pack gremlins until I replaced all of them. I thought my mech was smoking crack saying to replace all the wires. He was right. My coated long tubes at them up.
Not saying it's your current prob, but I think any long tubes should replace wires once a year as maintenance. U should be rewarded with a smoother running engine.

well...
Flow apparently doesnt mean jack because my powerless heads flowed 307 cfm at .600.
jmX had almost the *exact* same flow between his ARE heads and the new GTP heads. The GTP heads had *much* smaller ports and made MUCH more power (velocity, ya know? )
Both jmX's and my ARE heads were also waaaaaaay hogged out and from what I can tell, had no velocity at all.
Both made very poor power.
You are going down the SAME path Jon and I went down....
sorry man. ;-)

Re: Dragula Update: Something must not be right
My old LT1 head ported used epoxy to fill in some of the ports to get velocity up..
I`m a firm believer that a lot of power is in the heads.

Re: Dragula Update: Something must not be right
My old MMS stage 2's flowed ~295cfm and put down 446rwhp/127mph traps with their 229v2.1 cam. Needless to say flow doesn't mean much to me.

Re: Dragula Update: Something must not be right
Thanks for all the suggestions and comments.
My thoughts regarding swapping the injectors is so that I can rule them out as a problem.
If I can't get the car to run 10.7-10-.8@124-126mph at 3450-3500 raceweight I may ask Wade @ ARE if I can bring the car up there for some tuning since I am trying a lot of things to make it faster and the car has yet to hit 123mph...
Last thing, I don't appreciate the sarcastic comments at all. This is a help thread. Read H8tbad's comments. I don't need folks to repeat what I know, which is that the car is a slug. I went to the University of Chicago, and started a company 5 yrs ago too. We've looked at a lot of aspects of the car, and they are good. I still have potential concerns with the igition system and the injectors, maybe even the pcm. Heck maybe the injector drivers in the pcm are fragged.
Heck maybe I race I should come out on 26's, open exhaust, svo30's like the MTI cars, and try to rip some ***.

Can that be fixed with LS1 Edit?? Or will you have to flash the whole thing back to stock specs and retune it all over again?? Maybe a whole new pcm???? Man I hope not.

Re: Dragula Update: Something must not be right
John, I didn't read through all these posts, but Mello is right that ohm'ing out the wiring will not always give accurate results. ..I know you've had wiring problems in the past.
I've said this before, but when wiring gets hot, it changes the resistance, esp. if it's at a short/fried wire/high resistance connection point. It sucks, but it's real hard to run down.
Good luck.

Re: Dragula Update: Something must not be right
John,you used a wideband when you tuned,correct?
It would show it running lean up top.
Have you been there when the car was dyno'd and watched the A/F
during the run?
Did you auto tap while on the dyno?
Do you have a graph we could look at?
PS-your car will run leaner on the street, due to more load.
If you are dynoing soon,I would like to drop by and check it out.

No, I was not there, I'm saving days off for the Southern Shootout and other things.
AF was perfect on the dyno per the dynosheets.
I am planning to bring the car to Speed Inc. early next week to let them play with the car some more on the dyno.

I wouldn't be too hard on the car or setup. She's pretty damn fast. Nothing wrong with wanting more tho.
Don't those 4.11's chew up some mph?

Sean, load on the track with 28" hoosiers might be a lot different then the load on a Dynjet.
My shift extension on 2-3 is 5100 someone asked me via email. I think that's pretty low.
