Does everything bolt back up to the 6.0 block? What would I have to do to it to add a stroker crank and rods(what size pistons)?Would it be more noticable then a 382 on a LS1/LS6 motor?Extra power worth the extra weight?????Also what hp icrease would I see by going to a 6.0 over a 382 stroker? What would I have to do to make it a 408???Was thinking about a 408 on an iron block if I can't find a LS1/LS6 block.

A 382 is 6.3L I believe, so it would have a slightly higher potential for more power.
A 408 is done by (someone correct me if I'm wrong) having a 6.0L block bored over .030" (4.030" bore) and by having a 4" stroke.

I believe everything bolts up to the 6.0L block.
If you are going to buy a stroker crankshaft, you may as well go with the 4.125" stroke and get 422ci out of it with a 4.030" bore. The more cubes the better to make up for the extra weight, unless you plan on reving it past 7000rpm.

I don't believe you can bore the iron block .125" over. I'm pretty certain 4.060" bore is the max (or 60 over). 30 over is all I'd do if you plan on using power adders (forced induction or nitrous). The 409 is acutally a 4.030 bore and a 4.00" crank (408.17 actually).
Just wanted to clear things up.

4.03" Bore x 4" Stroke = 408
4.03" Bore X 4.125" Stroke = 421
