Default p/v clearance with 230 dur @50 .580" lift cam with 114 lsa on stock engine?

Is there enough piston to valve clearance with this cam or is it too big.

THanks for the quick reply phil97svt.

Any idea how much room you have with this cam and milled heads?

Natually, it will depend on how much the heads are milled.

Also might want to read this thread regarding milled heads.

Basically, says with heads milled .020 and 230 intake the TR cam it might be too tight. Close call.

I have this cam in my car right now. 230/230 .578 .578 114lsa and no P/V clearance issues with LS6 heads milled .030.

1.84 60' 11.83 @ 119. This was before I really started tuning the car. I have made very few passes on the car due to the 11.49 roll cage rule. Usually I get 2 passes and have to leave. One all motor and one on the bottle. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />
