What is the typical tuning required when getting a 224/224 cam. Air/fuel, timing????

Running a T1 with no tuning. Lopes pretty good, but very streetable, and makes pretty good power thru the stock exhaust manifolds and cats (which will be replaced with TTS headers within the next month or 2)

Before my ported heads went on I made 391RWHP with a B1 through full exhaust (less CAT's) and it drove very smooth!

I'm running a Comp 224 single pattern .581 112 cam and it runs pretty darn good Still needs a little tunning but it'll do for now.

John B
Thanks again for all of your help, expertise and time involved in helping me swap out my cam

TR 224/112 with stock heads and SLP LT's. I do have a MAFT to lean it out a bit. So far, with 5% rich on Base and 2% lean on WOT, I pulled a 113.10 trap speed.

I would immagine that this leaves a fair amount of power on the table to be discovered with a head swap, eh? This might be a good choice for me because I'm going to have to do it in stages. How does that idle with the 111 LSA? Seems like it would be a little harsh for the street.

Hotcam - only "tuning" (and I use the word loosely *L*) is with MAFT and HPP3. It's given me pretty good power though for what mods I have so I'm not complaining .
