Metalic noise and bit`s in my oil!!!
I have a feeling this is going to hurt... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> I was out pounding on the car last nite and after on the way home I noticed the oil pressure was a little low as I drove more, a metalic noise started.... it`s there but did not get any louder! so today I dumped the oil and found it looks like Boat paint!!! I`am sure it`s "hurt" I am going to pull it out and take it apart. So I`am thinking on a big cube stroker...who makes the most bang for the buck and who`s the most reliable? any ideas???

jmX isn't kidding. Don't kid yourself either. Stroker motors require almost constant maintenance. When you make the power and play the game you will continue to pay all the way down the road. Buying an engine upgrade is not a one time event. Plan on paying for it for years to come.

If aftermarket parks improved reliability then GM would be all over it...
Fact is... Change motor from stock (and valvetrain) then if you experience any problems dont bitch to GM...

Why would I bitch to GM I know what you guys are saying but what I meant was I didnt want any water problem. No matter who builds a motor GM,Ford or Crysler or any one else for that matter you can blow it up. How many people here blew up there stock **** all I was saying is IMO ARE has the most reliable stroker package. I had problems with my head and cam stuff I know what to expect with regards to tuning. You guys don't have to jump all over me like I'm completely lost!

Re: Metalic noise and bit`s in my oil!!!
You build the big block and blow out everything else (tranny, rearend). If you do a big block you need a different radiator, upgraded tranny, 12 or 9 inch rearend, and the suspension to handle that new power. That is assuming no issues with the engine either. That is what they mean by you don't just build an engine and all is good. It all adds up fast.
