Removing MLS Gasket Layers
Did anyone try raising compression by removing layers of the stock LS1 MLS head gasket?
I've read about Victor Reinz® Victo-Stack® head gasket kit, which features an advanced, modular, multi-layer steel (MLS) design offering the advantage of being able to easily raise an engine’s static compression ratio by lowering the cylinder height or, conversely, to lower the compression ratio by raising the cylinder height. Not sure if it's available for LS1 engines.

I wouldn't do it, and also it woulds raise your compression, NOT lower it.
