Most of the well know/big name shops are going to want $1500 to $1200.
I think $900 to $1000 is fair.
For my H&C the most expensive price was $1400 and the least $500.
I decided to go with the person that had the most experience, an excellent reputation and build engine professionally for a racing team. The price was quite fair as it's right in the middle of the range.
