Default What’s the average install price for a h/c package?

Looks like I will be going with a GTP h/c package soon. What can I expect for an average install price with tuning?

From what i have seen i would expect that your going to pay on the average around $1,000.00 to $1,200.00 from the more familar tuners known to this board and about another 400.00 for ls1 edit tuning on a dyno. Speedwerk in Texas quoted me $1,925 which for tuning also which i thought was too darn high!

Getitn' mine installed for $600.

7-800 is fair.

100 an hour for dyno-tuning.

Maybe take an hour and a half on the dyno.

$1500 to $500 depending on who is doing it.

Most of the well know/big name shops are going to want $1500 to $1200.

I think $900 to $1000 is fair.

For my H&C the most expensive price was $1400 and the least $500.

I decided to go with the person that had the most experience, an excellent reputation and build engine professionally for a racing team. The price was quite fair as it's right in the middle of the range.

If you can turn a wrench try it yourself its not that bad! I know there are local houston area guys that will do it for 450-500. Screw paying 1200-1500 thats ****** crazy!
