Default Fuel laying in heads w/valve closed

Pulled the intake today and was looking down in the heads. On #2 and #7 there is a puddle of fuel laying on top of the closed valve. What would cause this. Could a rich tune do this? Car is going through plugs like mad as well. The fuel is blackish...maybe carbon....as well.

you might try switching the injectors around and see if it starts fouling a different plug, the injectors may be going south.is it fouling all your plugs or just a few ?

Im thinking the same thing. How many miles you have on them? Maybe its time to upgrade.

The whole motor/injectors have 250 miles on them. All the plugs foul. It runs decent while driving but if you let it set and idle it fouls the plugs in 10 minutes. My buddy changed his injector size at the last minute and we're thinking the mail tuner may have it tuned for 36's and he's running 42's. Not sure if that would lead to this or not. The fuel was only laying in those 2 cylinders but those were the only 2 that were closed at that time also.

AH yes if your fuel managed for 36#'ers and are running 42's there will be an issue. You just cant shove bigger injectors in there without "tuning" for them.

Take it to a tuner and change the plugs, that should solve the problem.

Wow that can lead to some serious destruction in the motor.

PM Dheck, he had a similar problem a year or so ago. I just can't remember what he figured out with his.

If the injectors are larger than what the PCM thinks they are(PCM thinks 36 but you have 42's installed) then the plugs will foul out in no time at all.
