"Project Wife's Car" get a CAM!!! results;
After all the pushing from Jason and Shane we finally put a cam in Jessica's car Saturday. The cam is a TR218/218 .553/.553 114lsa. We wanted something small and stealth and the results were a little better then I expeted. The car picked up about 25-30rwhp across the board and about 40rwhp on the top end. All runs were made through an unlocked Vig3200. We did spray the TNT 100 shot to the tune of 481 peak rwhp but it was way too lean. Time for a fuel pump before any more nitrous goes through it.

This cam is just a TR220 cam that was ground just a little small. Instead of ditching it I thought I give it a try.

Re: "Project Wife's Car" get a CAM!!! results;
Cool man. I make the same numbers with a cartek 218/222 .562 .562 cam and a viggie 3200 converter with 3.42 gears. I have SLP longtube headers, Dr. Gas X-pipe, LS6 intake. I haven't perfected out the A/f though on a dyno, it's running rich up top with the MAFT max out on leaning it out on WOT.
I have no idea what it makes on the spray though

Thanks Guys. I thought about doing the LS6 intake but I'm sure we are going to selling the car soon so I didn't want to put too much more money into it.

Great improvement for a stealth cam!
Why does the HP peak at such a high RPM?
With that cam size I would have thought peak HP would have been around 6200rpm.

For some reason the graph always prints out with higher rpms with A4 converter cars. I'm talking to Dyno-Jet about this now. The rev limiter is set for 6600rpms and I never hit that on the dyno. I spun the car to about 6500-6600.Cam should be peaking about 6000-6200.
