I do not know for sure but it is a ~ 9.4 SCR so dish is in the 8cc +/- range

the dish on the LQ4 pistons is tiny... id like to know the exact size also..

on a related note, how many CCs is the usual fly cutting on LSx motors..

Well that depends on how big the cam, mill and gasket thickness. When you do it, do it once and right, .080 int/.060 exht is good on average.

The LQ9 pistons are the same size but are flat top.

Wonder what the compression will be with 64cc heads using LQ4 pistons and also with LQ9 pistons on standard 3.622 stroke motor and stock MLS gasket.

Just need to check my calculation against others.

I know this is an old post but we physically measured the LQ4 piston dish and came up with -6.7cc if that helps anyone out.

I was told -7 which is what i used to figure my compression on my T/A. If bigboykilroy measured then thats good too. i may actually see 10.4 instead of10.3/1 compression.
