Not a pick my cam post but...... ..rather compare these 2 for me
224/224 56x 56x 110 +2
230/224 570 563 110 +0
i allready have one of them but might come accross the other, im spraying so take that into account... will one gain over the other etc... BTW ITS A STREET CAR NOT A TRACK CAR.... <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
I guess what im wanting to know is the diffrence in the power band and curves, etc... i kow they are both great cams but i just need/would like to know the differance.......

I would think the 230/224 with no advance and a 110lsa will much less driveable then a 224/224 110 with 2 degrees advance. 770 boy ran the 224/224 thunder cam on a 110 lsa and made 395/404 rwhp/rwtq with nothing more then a lid and headers. I don't know about juicn' it though but would imagine that you would be alright if you keep it around 100 shot.

Re: Not a pick my cam post but...... Your 230/224 cam also has 4 degrees advance ground into it and a 111lsa. This makes for a 107 intake centerline which would be closing the intake valve 3 degrees earlier then the 230/224 cam with 110lsa with 110 intake centerline (0 degrees advance). I think the 110lsa vs 111lsa will be negligeable on driveability.

Re: Not a pick my cam post but...... Well damn, I guess that is what happens when I assume. I thought that all thunder cams had 4 degrees advance ground into it then. If it trully doesn't have any advance ground in it then I don't think the switch to a 230/224 110 +0 cam would net you any more then 3-2 hp.
