Help with Pushrod replacement!
Could someone give me some tips on this? I've got all the basics...but are there any tricks to doing this once you've pulled the valve covers..getting those off are a snap...
If anyone know's of some writeups or something I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks

Re: Help with Pushrod replacement!
Getting the valve covers off is the hardest part. After that, just remove the rockers (10mm bolt) and pull the pushrods out. When you replace them, torque the rockers to 24 lbs-ft (I think!) That's it.

Re: Help with Pushrod replacement!
If you can find one, do yourself a favor and purchase a "6 point" 8mm socket for a 3/8" ratchet. Took me a while to locate one as it is not very common. Those rocker arm bolts are tiny yet on there very tight. When I tried to loosen them with a 1/4" drive ratchet and 12 point socket, they would not loosen and the socket kept slipping off of the bolt. Eventually would have rounded it off.
