how strong is an aluminum block?

how strong is an aluminum block? all billet rods, crank, great pistons, cometic gaskets, billet steel main caps, arp head bolts, arp main studs and the deck welded around cylinders for support. this will be a 383 with 10.6:1 comp. good heads and cam. Here is the catch I am thinking about 300 hp of n2o all the components will handle that but will the block? It will be in 3 stages 100 in each the 3rd will be a just in case dry kit don't want to lose the money race.

Re: how strong is an aluminum block? Ask ARE how much NO2 their aluminum block can handle. Im sure they are using somewhere in that neighborhood if not more for their size shot. Anyone know how much they spray.

Don't think you'd have any problems with a 300 shot. I thought the ARE car was running a 300 or a 400 shot, and their motor is a few years old?
