gas mileage
Hmmm 22-24mpg, pretty good for 4.10's. When you made the switch did you notice a big change in gas milage.

I didn't notice a big change in gas milage after the swap. You've got to remember with a M6 I'm only turning about 1900 rpm @ 70 mph. Drove to the OC car cruise last October, its about 150 miles from my house. Then cruised the beach doing some spirited driving, stop and go, got 19.7 mpg. Last time I drove the car to work for a week, all highway, got 22.7 mpg. That's one of the things I love about these cars. How many old shool muscle cars can run low 11's and get 23 mpg. Answer 0.

After heads & cam + 4.10's Mileage per tank varies wildly, depending on how I drive. I drive the car harder than before. 250 to 275 miles per tank roughly. 19 to 21 mpg average. No long highway trips yet. Best highway 25 mpg on a fairly short trip.
My car always gets worse mpg in the winter. I let the car warm up more than before because I don't want to risk a valve spring. I also get on it a lot more and mpg has dropped - a lot.
As someone else said, 418rwhp & 404rwhp + 4.10's and 20+ mpg so I can't complain at all.
