Default March Balancer Help

I've got a March harmonic balancer and was told that it is fluid dampened. My engine builder seems to think it is a solid chunk and will not help with harmonics. My question is does March make a balancer that is not fluid dampened and if so how can I tell the difference?

As far as I know March only makes fluid damper pulleys for the LS1. Whats your part number, I can check it to my new one.

If it is a LS1, it is fluid dampened.

I just got home and I can't seem to find any #'s on the balancer. The only thing I see is the SFI specs. I'm not 100% sure that mine is a March, I was told it was when I bought it. Mine APPEARS to be solid, it measures 5 1/2 inches diameter. Is this what yours looks like? Sorry guys, just trying to be sure that the one I have is what I think.
