Exclamation searching for a good N/A.... future turbo cam

im in the market for a cam that will make good NA power, but at the same time keep in mind that im going to be adding a turbo to the car too. So i will need a cam that will do both. Also the car is a DD, so nothing too outrageous.

Ideas? suggestions?

Thanks.
JOSH

look at the ligenfelter gt2-3 cam, or a ls6 cam.

How radical do you want to go?

i dont want to go too nuts with it, i want it to make good NA power as well as good power when i do go turbo. But from what i gather everyone is getting a reverser split cam. like 227/224 115... ect.

A TR 220/220 114LSA cam would be an excellent choice.

I am curious about this as well and would be curious to see a good answer. I want to put a supercharger on some day and I would like to get a cam that could make decent power now, and be used with the FI later. I might be getting heads also.

Our 224/228 Cam was designed around forced induction applications, but also has great gains in n/a setups. This is the cam we like to recommend to guys with similar goals as yours.

If you haven't yet, and are still planning on going turbo, I would recommend a 114lsa.

I was going to run the Brutespeed FI cam 232/240 .595/.608 115 for my turbo build. I know several people who have them on turbo builds and love it

G5X2 is a good cam for NA or FI on a 114.. sounds pretty good at idle too.

A cam that's been shown to put down some decent numbers both NA and with a SC is the Vinci 216/224 115lsa trucker cam. I had it in my B4C and it was strong down low, had more lope than my cousins 228R and would still pull all the way to 6500. Its ground on some Crane lobes.

That was for the other guy asking about a Supercharger cam. It's not ideal for a turbo application. It is a bit small but so is the LS6 cam and it puts down good numbers with a SC as well.
