LS6 heads flow really well and have always been my personal favorites.

I fought with this for a while and had almost the same power goals as you did. Power under the curve and driveability were #1 and #2 for me. I ended up going with the Stage 2.5 5.3L PRC heads (milled to 60 cc) and it met your power goals (and then some). Despite meeting my power goals, I was even more thrilled at the way the car performs -- the power under the curve is ridiculous.

I have the PRC 5.3's milled to 59cc's, the 228r, and .040 Cometics. Trust me...its a nice combo. I have no regrets.

I will be having PRC 5.3 with cometic 0.040 and Torquer V2. I asked Jason and said I won't have PTV issues!!

Can wait until I get the parts and install them!!

Texas Speed is the way to go, great help these guys give without a doubt!

How much power is actually being made from the .040 gaskets? Is it really worth the risk of blowing a gasket by using the cometics over the gm gaskets?
