probably hands down the most popular cam on the market...

cam only with bolt ons...and a good tune, expect 370-380rwhp

most guys with heads put down 400rwhp with it.

You made a good choice man. Especially with the nitrous kit I sold ya. That cam will be very streetable & give you some decent numbers. The curve it'll lay down will make up for the lower numbers if your wonderin about that also.

I'd say with that cam & on the juice you'll see about 450 RWHP on a 100 shot. Watch your bottom end though.

With that cam and Patriot Performance 243 heads I got 401/390 on a Mustang Dyno. I also had cats, y pipe and a LS1 intake.

That cam is basically THE standard bearer. Exactly middle of the road, been around a long time and easy to tune, makes great power gains.

Search for TR224 and you'll find TONS of threads about it...definately a popular cam. I had it in my Camaro, it was pretty easy to tune and gave me some pretty decent power. I would go bigger however if I had to do it over.

I removed this cam not to long ago. I loved the cam it did very good at the track and especially on the street. Ran 7.2s consistenly in the 1/8. But it was time for me to go bigger. +1 for some 2.5 5.3L heads added with this cam. Good price also.

Mods in my sig. I have the 112LSA 375hp/375lbft SAE at the wheels. I think some heads are in my not too distant future.

I think thats everyones starter cam. I have the TR224/112, pullin it out and goin bigger. My car was a daily driver when I chose that one. Garage queen now so why not? It made 372rwhp with Mac headers on a dynojet, 365 on Mustang dyno.

One of my buddies is running that cam. With full boltons minus an ewp he put down 384 rwhp and ran a 12.2 at 117. He recently just swapped out his stock heads for a set of afr 205's milled .030 and put down 423 rwhp and 398 rwtq.

I've got the TR224 112 and love it! See sig for details.

Its a little small for an LS2. I'd step up to a 228 for that.
