Default PRC dual springs question

Well, I just got my new set of these which came sort of thrown in a box along with my O2 sensor extension harnesses. Anyways, I was wondering if the seals they come with are a quality piece or if I should get some better valve seals? If I'm not mistaken, my stock ones will be attached to the valve spring seat...these are not...will that be OK? Any input appreciated!

No need to change the seals. The ones included in the set are top quality.Just install the kit and go.

When installing the seals its good to install the spring locating seat first...then the seal. I always use bearing guard assembly lube on my seals to help lube things up on first fire up. Soaking the seals in oil for a few minutes will work well too.

Theyre more than likely GM pieces. Make sure you feel them seat home, or almost snap into place when you install them. if youre tapping them on, listen for the sound change when they hit home.

Yes and don't tap too hard. Putting these things on was a pain in my ***... the sound never changed like I was told, ended up busting the spring off one. After the install my brother in law told me I should've just used a valve seal tool What I would do is pull a stock one off, and tap the new one on until it had the same lower gap to the seat as the stock one. Everything is holding just fine 700 miles later.

That wont work on a 2001 car since they had integrated stock seals / seats. You can always just push them on with a 13mm deep socket, using your palm. But prepare for a very red hand and some pain.
