I read in GMHT that GM might make them in the future.

According to the article in GMHTP about the new Pontiac G8, it will come w/ the L76 intake and a small bore version of the L92's. I'm real anxious to see/hear more about them myself.

Here is an excerpt:
G8 GT-L76 6.0L V-8
If you've read this magazine for any measurable length of time, you've undoubtedly heard us bantering about the L76 intake paired with L92 cylinder heads. Oddly enough, up until now we didn't even have a vehicle in the United States that used this particular manifold. The good news is that not only do we finally get this mystical intake, we also get cylinder heads that fit the smaller bore-but with the same benefits of the L92-style heads, including the rectangular LS7-style intake ports.

A 6.0L has a 4" bore. How is that "small bore?"

Man, I got all excited too! If these small bore heads come out before or during the winter, I will get them. Otherwise I will be buying the 5.3 stage 2s from TSP.

From that little bit above I doubt GM will make a new head. The L92's already fit on a 4inch bore so theres no reason and would be dumb of GM to spend money for motors no longer in production, that being the LS1.

The L92 small bore heads from ETP are supposed to be coming out in July.

well if you consider the ls7 4.125" , the 6 liter 4" inch bore is a small bore. Thats probably whats they are basing it off....

ET has been working on a set of 3.9 bore L92 heads. Granted the pricing will be comparative to other aftermarket heads.

I wouldn't waste my money on those heads. Big ports on a small cube motor=Turd...... Big flow numbers mean nothing. Just **** that helps sell parts.

from the link i posted: In basic terms, the L76 is a natural extension of the LS2. They share a similar bore (101.6mm LS2, 101.3mm L76), and the same 92mm stroke

And 6.0 heads are small bore. You can put 6.0 heads on an LS1, right? That makes the heads in this article "small bore". The important thing is the valve size and spacing for them to fit on a smaller bore.
