Forged Malhe Pistons ???
I am recently having my ls1 block re build with new pistons rings and all the bearings and was wondering if malhe forged pistons are good cause they are the cheapest i can find do you guys know anything about them. I have a stage two head and cam package with all the bolt ons. What else do you guys think i should do to the engine since its out. thanks guys

since you are rebuilding the engine now would be a great time to put in some arp rod bolts also or if funds permit a set of decent h-beams. then you would have a very solid bottom end that would handle quite i bit of power.

+1 for getting new rods in addition to the pistons.
+1 for Mahles being a good buy. They're inexpensive, but they're supposed to be good pistons. The best part is that they come with the rings, too!

Ya i already ordered the pistons and rings and the arp rod bolts right now i can afford the rods so you guy have had no problems with them , thats great. Do you all know how much nitrous they can handle ?? thanks for all the input.

Nitrous wise I'm guessing they are something like a 4032 material for "small nitrous applications". Here's how it was described to me from the guys at Outlaw Motorsports.

ok i think i am just gonna leave the rods stock and the crank stock and just spay a 150 shot of nitrous . With a 150 shot will the motor be safe and can i spray it alot at the track like that with no worries? thanks for all the input.
