Got a week off, Cam install time!

Finally got some time off from my full time job. Time to do the install!

TSP 228R cam (228/228 588/588 114 lsa), ls2 timing chain, TSP ported ls6 oil pump, 918's, Hi-tech pushrods, vic jr, and 317 heads. My elbow ships from intake elbows on Tues, need to order some braided steel fuel lines on Mon. Finally it has taken me a year now to collect all these parts

Lol. You know you got it bad when you take vacation time to wrench! Good luck on the upgrade and post up the results when it's back together.

Let me know what results you get, I also have an A4 and thinking of doing that excact same cam. You should have good results and still idle ok. Do you know if this cam would work with a supercharger if you decided to go with one later?

I choose this cam for the mid and high range power band to work with my 4K stall conveter (anything under about 3500 rpm's won't really do me any good since it flashes up so fast). I didn't want a huge cam and I thought this was a nice moderate size.

Websy21-- Superchagers like a big traditional split (ex. 228/236), but my T61 turbo should love it,

they like a straight or reverse split cam.

I'll get some results up in a couple weeks when I get her dyno tuned. It really depends on how backed up Alvin @ PCM4less is.
