Input needed. about to order
Right now I plan on the MS3 on a 112LSA on stock heads. My biggest thing is just wanting a mean idle, street manners ehh not that important to me.. but at the same time making sure its going to be a reliable. I plan on getting most all the work done at a shop in houston so I know alot of it is in the hands of the tuner. Any input on this set up would be greatly appreciated.
I gotta get the ball rolling soon before my roommates get back in august.
One has a CTS-V and the other a cammed ls1 Gto putting out 375 to the wheels. I would like to have a nice surprise for them when they move into the house.
What is the spec on the MS3?
Good luck.

MS3 237/242, .603"/.609" 112lsa
big cam, auto, daily driver, ehh....
if its what you are sure you really want then go for it, but if your looking for advice, i would recommend a smaller cam. that way you have power everywhere, not for just half the RPM range and its nice to drive. a car with a big cam that sounds badass, and performs decent, but has questionable drivability will believe it or not get old after awhile. dealing with stupid drivability issues day after day will make you hate that car no matter how great it sounds. you can get a smaller cam that sounds just as good, has good power, and has better drivability and be 100x happier with it. trust me.

However, I do not believe your SS3600 is large enough to properly match the cam. I installed my MS3 a little over two years ago with a 3500 stall speed converter. It was a poor match. Drove fine, but sucked getting out of the hole at the track (1.75 60s). Went to a 4k and it kicks so much better now.
I'd go more al ong the size of a 233/239 with that 3600
