F14 problems...
The car wouldn't start. but we figured it out to be the only reason it wouldn't start was because the F14 was in there. We put the car at top dead center and went dot to dot (stock timing gear and chain).
My question here is if we went to install the F14 again would we need to possibly degree the cam, and also if we did need to how much. My friend can't seem to find the cam card but on the cam is written F14 +4.
Any and all suggestions welcome.
Thank you,
Shane
Just try pulling the wires out and switching them around and see if it will start. What happens when you try to start it? pops a bunch? We have the stock cam in there now and it runs like a champ.
What would be a reason for the f14 being in there and not running.
It would turn the motor over and just pop.
Not even a normal backfire, only once ina great wile, more like a fuel compression pop.
