Bret Bauer I think does a lot of work with the Dart heads.

I have some pics of ported Dart 225's. They're pretty badass. xfactor_pitbulls on this board did them.

By the way, he might be able to port yours if you PM him.

Not sure how much hp was gained, but here's the post telling how much cfm was gained. https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iii-internal-engine/514551-dart-225-after-info.html

Isn't there a rule of thumb saying for x amount of cfm, that equals one hp? Isn't it something like 5cfm = 1hp?

Yes there is a rough conversion. However there is more to it than that. ALOT more

BTW it is more like 1 cfm=2 hp..

Actually he is not. The people that know him personally, know that he is a pretty nice guy. He will take the time to explain WHY something works rather than just "that it does"

You have no idea why he was banned.

You can port a set of Dart 205s out to the equivalent of a set of ported Dart 225s. The heads are pretty much the same except for the smaller valves and intake runners in the 205. That relates to more meat to take away with porting in the 205s.

My experiences and others with him haven't been the best. That's why he would explain to us about L92 cams? Then put down rather crappy numbers and think his work is amazing.

You're right I don't have any idea why he's banned, but it doesn't matter to me. One less internet know it all that think's they're the begin all, end all of everything is out of here.

If you want a good porter who actually put down solid results get in touch with Greg Good. V6Bird another guy on here does a lot of work with them. He's also banned, but he actually puts down great results.

The only result you have seen out of Bret for a L92 cam was the first one that WKMCD had. Come to think of it, that was one of the very first L92 builds period. Nobody hits it out of the park on the first swing everytime. The biggest difference was his first swing was broadcast on national televeision more or less. I would call it a solid double, based on the fact that he gave the customer exactly what he wanted. I happen to know quite a bit about that whole situation, so I am not just spouting internet hearsay.
Bret makes his living by specing out cams. So I wouldn't expect him to give out his reasons for cam specs.
I know v6bird also, matter of fact I talk to him almost every day. Ask him his opinion of Bret.
Bret doesn't think he knows it all, but he does know enough to be one of the best in the country.

Bret Bauer eats rocks and ***** gunpowder; he knows his stuff and is not a Jelly Bean. I can tell you I have had very good expierences with him. Wait till the LSX race in October is over. Look at who the #1 qualifier is, and then speak negatively about Bret's work.

Bret Bauer is one of the most honest and decent people that I have dealt with. He knows his stuff and does not lie like some of the sponsors on this board.
