you may(or may not) have to have a set custom made. almost all of the aftermarket pistons come for a 6.125 rod.your best but would be to call the manufacturer directly , maybe diamond or mahle.is funds really tight the reason you are using 6.098 rods ? an aftermarket set is usually much stronger than the stockers, at the least put in better rod bolts.

Already planning on ARP Pro rod bolts.
But I haven't put any thought in a 6.125" rod yet, as I just was thinking of that as Phase II - - doing a stroker. But I haven't thought of the feasibility of putting them on a stock crank.
Can that be done without effecting PTV?

Thanks slow trap!! You got me thinking in a new direction that might actually be very cost consious!!
I talked to a few places today and I just need to finish my homework, but the 6.125" might just pan out!!
I was originally looking for flat tops, but Mahle carries a -1cc, for that rod and stock stroke. I just hope that will be ok. Need to do some finalizations or if anyone has any input, I'd gladly welcome it!!!

Here is the specs from the website:
"Mahle Motorsport Forged 370 cid LS1 Flat-Top Piston Set: 4.030" Bore, 3.622" Stroke, 6.125" Rod Length, .927" Wrist Pins, 1.314" CH, -1cc Dish; Wrist Pins and Piston Rings Included"
Just trying to get an understanding of what info you are trying to determine by asking the question. Please help me learn!!

i didnt they no had that psiton available yet,
thats a good piston, if the c.h. is 1.314, then that means it is .010
protruding out the bore. 1.304 pistin with stock crank and 6.125 rod would
equal zero deck. may have to use sbc rods, or specific ls1 rods, i beams would be good for almost any application. i assume the ring package is a 1.5/1.5/3mm moly rings, low tension.

The one question I need to answer, before I can purchase, if these 'should' work with a set of L92's. I am trying to find that out. If they will, then I will make the switch to the 6.125" rods and these pistons.
If anyone has ANY input, please let me know!!
Thank you!

The 6.125" rod won't make the piston stick out anymore if the piston is designed for it. If anything, it will improve the rod/stroke angle and reduce side-loading of the pistons on the sleeves.
Diamond carries -2cc valve reliefed pistons as well (and they can be ordered with LS7/LS2/L92 chamber design to place the valve relief where you want it).
A 2cc relief still allows for plenty of compression if you're willing to mill the heads to the desired compression ratio.
Rods: Get the Compstar LS1-specific 6.125" with ARP 2000 bolts. Less than $600 for the set, and they are fantastic quality h-beam forged rods that are lightweight.
