TREX gets my vote, but the only one I've heard in person was in an LME 370 cu. in. motor so I may be biased.

You really need to get a Jelly Bean cam. After all the "JB" cam guy is a sponsor here...or is he just a moderator. Some days it's hard to tell. You definitely need to support the sponsors...er mods.

Wheres the graph and was it corrected? Not a lot of info there. Thats a long ways away from 500 hp w/375tq. Yea I know the stall eats power.

As far as dyno and 500hp goes tell me how accurate the 520+ HP that was shown with this combo is. Where did that dyno get done and how accurate was it really. Thats what I'm talking about. Sensational numbers not to be reproduced. I'm not saying that Vengeance is lying I'm questioning some of the results and the dynos they came from.

That 520hp graph is the reason for the doubt.

The 520rwhp car has been on 4 different dynos... The lowest it pulled was 514 and the highest it pulled was 525... Seems like it has proven itself to everyone who questioned it.

Ron, with all due respect, I think he's saying to make that a valid specimen instead of an outlier, Vengeance should go ahead and put those parts on a few more cars and make the same power to show it isn't just a fluke. Remember the Terminator heads? I know Blanco does. Heck, I think he'd still kill somebody over his if he got the chance.

What state btw? Just curious. It seems dynos in Texas pull higher than anywhere else. Maybe its the air?

AT the time it was posted it was told that the numbers should be taken with a grain of salt by the poster. Something about correction factor. Was that on 91 octane? Cant remember and you know search isnt great.

Anyway if you've got 4 cars that arent made for the dyno that are putting that much down or regular pump than awesome! I've been to dyno events and race gas is passed around but no one ever says there car was running 101 octane when they put up 650hp and 700tq.

I've seen where others have bought the TFS heads and didnt gain anything but they werent using your cam either.

Again not accusing you of anything just been around long enough to know and have seen the tricks. SO I question and look for the truths and facts behind the sensational numbers of any combination. Nothing personal I assure you.

I understand where you are coming from. I have been in the LS scene since it started.... I know the tricks that can be pulled and I know all about the internet hype that pulls the wool over innocent peoples eyes...

I will say this, the 522 car has been on our dyno, another dyno in Marietta Georgia, one in Alabama and one in Florida... We also have 3 other heads/cam cars that have made over 500rwhp... We have about 15 to 20 that have made 490s..... Maybe next time I make a post Ill post a 490 car, that way when a guy makes 500 in his garage with our parts he will be overly excited

As for our dyno, we use 93 octane and we usually dyno our cars in front of 10 or 15 locals. No tricks. We all know what CAN be done to make a #. The truth is, we know 75% of our customers will dyno somewhere else to validate their #s, so why put our integrity/reputation on the line..... I like to say... It is what it is

BTW, TFS are an excellent head. So are AFRs/ETs. The HEADS dont make the power... The COMBINATION does

That's true, and I think you guys are figuring out what makes a good combo. Credit is earned there, for sure.

All I want to know is what did these 500+ rwhp cars run at the track.. and what did their car weigh.

I vote vindicator, for the fact that you will never end with your power quest, and will want more and the vindicator will offer more later down the road.

I vote t-rex. It holds the record for the fastest cam only car

Both cam's are awesome, its all in the combo. I myself went with ETP's and a t-rex, that will be a hard combo to beat with a stock bottom-end car.

Sorry, but I only view the forums normally in the summer months. I will only browse a few threads a week for about 4 months (May-August).

Thanks for contributing to this thread If you knew the answer why wouldn't you just post it instead of being a jerk about it

Not everything you read on the web is accurate and based on fact. For these reasons I stick to talking to performance shops and engine builders for my technical advice.

P.S. I'm not your "bro"
