Default valve train noise

I just installed a tr220/220/561/561,114 with 941 springs and the damm thing sounds like a sewing machine, what can I do to correct this?

Do a search...

Most people with a relatively high lift cam say their car sounds like a sewing machine. I don't think there is anything you can do to "fix" it since it is not broken! Just the way a higher lift cam sounds!

Cool as long as its fine, I guess I will just get some long tubes and drown out the noise.

I ran a tr 220 and had no noise in the valvetrain.Now I run a tr224 with no noise.I would check pushrod length to make sure there is atleast .050 collapse of the lifter.

Could be the 941's though.I've never run them.

Just the way it is....the only thing that you can do is tune it to where it sounds like a very good running sewing machine...... :p
