Default MS4 and 1.8 rockers?

Is this possible? I am not sure how to find out other then to ask you smart people. I am going to be doing a few more things to the car and I think that is one of the things on the list if I am able to do that. I am thinking about putting in rockers, injectors, intake and throttle body when I sell my n2O setup.

Not with stock pistons.

The MS4 is a tight squeeze with stock rockers and stock pistons. With a bigger rocker you'll have clearance issues. The pistons will need a fly cut.

the ms4 would have near .700" lift with 1.8 rockers. i think you would be much better staying with 1.7 rockers because xer and lsk lobes are pretty agressive and with 1.8 rockers i don't think your springs will last very long, and most of the springs everyone uses are good only to .660" lift or so unless you get one designed for a sr cam.

Short answer.. No.

Long answer.. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo .

You could do it with different springs and solid lifters, but to run the spring pressure needed to control that valve with that set-up, you're going to collapse any hydraulic lifter.

No way. This would not be a good idea at all. And even if the valvetrain could handle it what gains would there be in using a 1.8 over a 1.7? little to none. Stay with 1.7's or use a different cam.

is there a way to get a rocket ratio at like, lets say 1.75 : 1? Ive been thinking about this, and did the math and found out that if i do that ratio to my 233/239 cam itll be like a .612/.621 lift witch would be awsome. Not saying im going to do this but could i ever get that ratio and if i did, would it be a huge stress on the valvetrain

aren't the cranes 1.75?

i know someone is.

but truely, the gains from that small increase in lift...are marginal.

humm i figured that just when i do upgrade them, to be like, reliable, ill also put in the lifters and then itll be a pretty sick lift thats safe. Again this isnt going to happen for a long while. Suspension must be done to stop my 10 bolt from annihalating.

I wouldn't do it.

Just get a nice, lightweight set of 1.7's with roller tips.
