Motor coming out
This week to do my cam(Vindicator V2), Lifters, Timing Chain, Oil Pump, Pushrods, Motormounts, and stall. I will also be spraying a 150 shot soon. I am asking, since I will have the oil pan off, should I change my rod bolts to ARP2000's? I know, I obviously should, but is it literally take 1 out at a time...and just screw the new one in type of thing, or is it gunna be a bitch? The motors gunna be out of the car on a hoist....

its easy. I spent about 30 minutes doing mine. Its kind of a pain when its hanginf from a hoist because when you try and torque the bolts the engine tries to spin in the air, but just brace it with your free hand and its fine

ARP rod bolts that are rated to 190,000 PSI and made from forged 8740 chrome moly.....are these bolts the ones everyone talks about?

your stock bolts may have a bushing inside the rod end. It needs to be removed before the new bolts can go in. Just loosen the old bolt until it you feel it start to tighten up again, then grab it with pliers/vicegrips and pull it out. It should have a small metal sleeve on it. The sleeve is what you are trying to remove.
