Default Can I do anything with this cam? pics inside

My cousin bought a cam from a member on here. When he recieved the cam it was wrappedin a brown bag or something wierd. He just bought another cam because he didnt want to deal with it and gave it to me.

Pretty sure its a 232/236 114lsa

LMAO, quit looking for reasons to use the new camera. It needs to be reground. Best bet is to contact someone at Comp Cams who happens to be a sponsor. It is a custom grind on their XE-R lobes. I doubt it can be repolished now as I see new rust from it sitting in your garage or shed. Comp can advise you from there in regards to regrinding and what specs they can regrind it too. Either way it is cheaper than buying a new cam. Only specs I got from the douchebag seller were 232/236 .600 .605 lift on a 114lsa as he dod not have the cam card either.

It's junk the way it is and would lead to major lifter problems if used. I agree about sending it to Comp for a regrind. I've had them do this for me on a hyd roller marine cam and it's around $125 and it's alot cheaper than buying a new cam.

It does look a bit pitted. But I would send it off to comp or to a machine shop and see if it can be repolished or reground. It would be cheaper then a new cam and the worse that they can say is no.

My stock cam now sits in my dorm room instead of the garage.
