G5X2 cam is in... problems!!!
The bad part now... which Im thinking has more to do with the install since I really havent seen any other problems but I want input anyways!
The car eats oil like crazy... the engine is a 2002 LS6 with 15K miles on it... didnt eat a drop or hint any smoke before the cam install, now it fills my garage literally within 20 seconds with smoke. It doesnt go away either, im not positive if its there when im at a light due to my window tint but when im outside of the car and its idling it pours out everywhere! My mechanic said its because of the Rev double valve springs and it isnt his fault... but I dont know any other cam guys in the area with that problem. I have cats and mufflers so I should be running cleaner then them all considering they all have no cats and bullets!! Can anyone suggest what needs to be done to solve this problem?
By the way Lou, thanks for the great cam! I love this thing! Dyno numbers next weekend when I get it dialed in at the dyno!

Sounds like a pretty simple fix btw, hopefully it all works out.

They may have installed them on the wrong valves also, you never know...
In addition... the car is kinda dying up top, which im guessing is part of this problem, it rips hard low and mid range while not really doing much up top. And the rev limiter is hitting early for some reason, or my tach is 500 rpm behind... one of the two
BTW, your tach is probably just behind.

Lou didn't mention this when I bought the cam package.
When I was having the cam installed,Speed inc. called and asked about it,then I called lou.
He gave me the part #,and we we're good to go.
That IS your problem.Put new seals in and you're all good.
You have to get 1998 seals,not 1999-2002.FYI
