243's have a smaller combustion chamber than a 241 or 853 head.. you'll have less PTV clearance.

and the +3-5 on the end of the 112 means with 3, 4, or 5 degress of advance ground into the cam.

not to be offensive.. but can you please type in full words and sentances? not doing so makes people less inclined to help, because it gives us old guys a headache to read.

Yep. Reason being is that Patriot just got done testing a cam that is exactly like what you spec'd (if not close)... and they said it gained over 10rwhp over their 226 i believe, don't quote me though.

I like it cause it's different.

i found this on the 226. It says that it only made 40rwhp, but has good manners on the street. So how do u think this new cam perform. i want something to have power over the rev

what do u think is a good starting point for hp to really kick in on a car ? about 3,000 rpm

what do u think is more important compression or valve lift ?
do u think that having more of 1 well help hp ?

that what i thought it meant. i thought he was saying -5 instead of 3 to 5

I suggest you call Gunnar at Patriot (888-462-8276) and ask him to give the testimony of the new 225/229. I talked to him briefly about it but it was a while back so i can't recall exactly what he said.
