Get a cam that has positive valve overlap and smaller duration and you will have sound and driveability all in one shot. maybe like a tqr v2.

I have a 232/236 112LSA (basically a torquer cam) and its great for daily driving, although i have a nice set of heads and it is setup with fairly high compression. Made over 450 HP and 415 ft-lbs. I drive it everyday and the most unstreetable thing on the car is the agressive clutch I have.

375/361. I believe there is definitely at least a little more in it. Going to track soon (for the first time, should be comical)

I have an 02 Z28 6 spd. with all the bolt ons (no electric wp) and a cartek 2x cam for a daily driver. Has a noticeable idle but is close to stock as far as drivability. The cam with all the bolt ons made 402rwhp and 373rwtq. I would drive this car anywhere.

Anything 230/230 and smaller will do just fine for most daily driven cars.. Check out some of the stickies on the top of this forum for all the info. you might need.

TR224 or 228r, both have nicer flatter torques curves and the power comes on sooner, easier drive, torquerII is nice too with a little higher torque curve

TR220 114LSA driven daily for 3 years with no issues. Vengeance tune, LT Dynatech headers, Yank SS3600 stall, 3:73 gears. Sounds like a much bigger cam with the SLP LM and sounds like a tuned muscle car with GMMG exaust. Dyno'd at 345hp and 379tq unlocked. This is through decked 98 heads and a stock LS1 intake with a ported TB. So there is plenty left.

98' Z-28 m6 K&N air filter, no cats, 4:10 gear, center force clutch, hurst shifter
Do you have headers or stock manifolds? If you have stock manifolds you can throw out most of the advice given in the above posts.
