you're missing seats/seals and locks... You will need oil pump O-ring and Water Pump gaskets. What size cam did you decide to go with? The 7.425 PRs are suppossed to quiet the valve train, the real way is to measure the base circle of the cam that will tell you what size PRs to go with.

Dont the water pump gaskets come with the cam install gasket kit? ok i'll add the oil pump o-ring. I decided to have patrick g spec the cam. I just have to take care of a dew things and i should have the specs next week. Im really like the 228/232 range but we'll see. I would like to have a quiet valvetrain for sure

You know what i think your right about the water pump gaskets in the kit..... when ever Patrick Specs cams, he does the 228/232 for some reason. I chose that one on my own in my idle vid, that is what the valve train will sound like. When the motor get warm, it is a TAD bit louder.......

I was thinking about just ordering your cam on a 112 but i really would like patricks opinion. I wonder how much different your lope would be with a 112+4?

I gurantee that he suggests a 110.....

But the same cam in a 112+4 will still be 6* of overlap... Will not lope as hard as mine....

But isn't it hard to tune a 110?

This is a hard decision because i REALLY want that lope

I should of the specs very soon.

You have to look at total overlap and not LSA when it comes to tuning. Any 346 under 15 degrees of overlap is fairly easy to tune. Under 8-10 degrees is cake. 4 degrees of overlap makes people wish they had gone bigger (usually). You just need to do the tuning yourself or find a competent tuner.

Well we have a few tuners in the area so i dont think it will be an issue. I just dont want to have to go back and forth to the tuner because the closest one is 40 minutes away.
I want a nice lope though. I like the way torched 02 ta's cam lopes alot

Like Patrick said, it is not the 110 that makes it hard to tune, it is the amount of overlap the cam has. Like mine has 10* in it, the one that your specing has 6* in it. So yours should me easy to tune.

For some reason my cam was bit harder to tune. the 10* was acting like it has 20* of overlap to it. I must have a motor built on Monday

Just take your time with this. i for 2 weeks straight 8 hours a day did research and read sooooooo much info. And i asked a lot of questions....

Good Luck

I have spent a lot of time looking at different cam setups. Probably on and off for about 4 months.

Bam. There's your ~900 cost. IMO that's all you need. I would def do the Oil Pump and put an LS2 chain on there (chain is <$100).

I spent about 1 month deciding to get a cam, and about 10 minutes deciding which one. I just sent Pat G a request and he got me set up. I wish I went with a bigger cam at this point

That was untuned. Idle speed was... who knows I can get you a clip of tuned idle ~800 right now if you want. LSA is 111 with +2 advance.

I gotta say some days I wish I went bigger, but this cam drives absolutely AWESOME on my stock 342s. Lot of get up and go, and pulls hard up top. Car skates around all the way through 2nd gear on the 315s (shitty-tomos... dur).
