Default Which bearings - P or H?

I'm putting together my engine. Need to know whether to use P or H series bearings, or something different. This is street/strip. So I am building it to take some mileage. Here's the parts, in case that matters:

Eagle 4" crank
CompStar rods
Diamond Pistons
GM 6.0L iron block (bored to 4.030")

Which bearings are appropriate?

They dont make one past 0.20, so if you were in that case you would have to buy the other series anyways. I dont remember which is which though.

Yeah all is standard size. Just need to know which one is better for longevity. I seem to remember reading once that the P series will give better oiling, but may not fit on an aftermarket crank.

Oh and remember, this is about both rod and main bearings.

You will have to use H bearings to clear the radius on the crankshaft. Aftermarket cranks have a larger corner radius than stock. Stock cranks can use P bearings because they have an undercut in the corner.

Im running H series and I also scotch brited them if that helps...

Okay I ordered the H bearings since that's what the machine work was measured with. But why the scotch-brite? I've only seen that done to increase tight tolerances.

Well I scotch brited to get all the pits out of the bearing coating. I felt better that way.
