RPMs go up when I push the clutch in on my H/C TA...
This is my first H/C car, and not sure if this is normal? but when I push the clutch in. The RPMs raise to ~2k rpms(its at this for a little while, never really tracked it though) before lowering back down. any ideas?
Also, when its in 1st or 2nd gear sometimes. The car leaps forward constantly(it feels like im giving the car gas and letting up, giving the car gas, letting up and so on).
I appreciate any help
Thanks
Patrick.

no. I dont know much about tuning. I'm a newb to H/C/tuning etc. The prev owner got it tuned up at RPM in lewisville. Do I have to pay for another ~$400 to get this stuff tuned right? Im going to have to go somewhere near SA/austin to get it done though. or is that what HPtuners is for? I'll do some searches.

Yeah im sure with a tune it should clear things up. I remember before i tuned my car with the MS3, it would turn off sometimes at lights. But most of the time while sitting it would search for idle a few times.

Cam surge. Sounds good at low idle, lopey. Have it tuned out. After the initial $450 outlay for a tune, brush ups run about $150. You paid for the software license with the first $400 charge. After that you're just paying for labor as long as you're using the same shop. Good luck.
I see you're in Texas. Still get to use the car huh? I've got several inches of snow on the ground and plenty more on the way. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I just got a great idea!!! A cam for the snow blower so I can throw the white poop over the house!!!!!
