He tried to flycut his pistons with an abrasive disc. Which just the material is a big no-no.
the ring land was taped off. sealed up dumb ***.

and as far as the guide's go i used a polished up valve with a steady supply of oil.

did you ride the short bus or did you bump your'e head later in life?????

if you would would have set the drink down for two second's you would have read that i do not care.and was looking for a reason to upgrade to new piston's so fine i can still use them .

I will post pic's for my OWN amusmeant . they are fine but i plan on spraying a ton and forged is the way to go.

I dont care how much you taped off the motor. That **** will kill the bearings. And who are you calling dumbass? You're the one that fucked up your piston. All I was trying to do was share some info from GM, not some hearsay ****.
But thats cool, do your thing. I know you were "looking for a reason to upgrade". That was the purpose of your whole post.

or say deck surface.

hope this clear's it up for you. also you do not need to cut valve releif in the block unless you drop a valve and she get's side ways or plan on that going on

Ok, lets review. GM says dont get that abrasive **** near our motors. You say 'its ok, we're just flycutting'. See where this is going? You cannot be careful enough with that abrasive material around these engines.
and based on your response as well as your butt buddies, I can tell both of your experience with these late model engines. and BTW, Ford has the very same TSB. Must tell you something........
