I tried to get new retaining clips when I did my head/cam swap, and the dealer here said they only came with new injectors, and I couldn't buy them stand alone. I dont know if there were blowing smoke up my *** or if that is the case.

This is what i'm looking for.

I was just about to give you your old link haha

When I looked it up, it said "connector" like maybe it was the pigtail connector?

Those are for the Pigtail. You don't need to remove those to pull the plug. You push them toward the plug and pull the plug. There is a small "hill" on the plug that the wire rides up.

I'm looking for the clip that holds the injector to the rail

I don't have any of them hooked on. I had them on and I didn't like the way the bottom was sealing with the new injectors. I unhooked them and they seat fine and do not leak.

With the for of 60psi behind them, I do not want to risk an under hood fire.

The rail is not going any where. What about the aftermarket rails, the injectors are not held in by clips either.

Those clips are not serviced by GM. I just looked in the catalog.

This is why i didn't have them. I pulled my aftermarket rails off. The aftermarket rails have longer "bores" in them.

If GM can't even get them, how are they replaced? Or do they only come with a new set of injectors?
