Default LS1 Injector retainer clip part number?

The LS2 part number is 24503227 but is the ls1 clip the same?

I tried to get new retaining clips when I did my head/cam swap, and the dealer here said they only came with new injectors, and I couldn't buy them stand alone. I dont know if there were blowing smoke up my *** or if that is the case.

When I looked it up, it said "connector" like maybe it was the pigtail connector?

yep, thats them,,(actually, mine looked a tad bit differnt than that) except when i bought mine,,you could not just buy that clip,,it was the whole connector.

i found a pic,,but its in an email and it wont copy/paste into here...looks more like a bent paper clip than the flat metal on those....

Those are for the Pigtail. You don't need to remove those to pull the plug. You push them toward the plug and pull the plug. There is a small "hill" on the plug that the wire rides up.

I'm looking for the clip that holds the injector to the rail

I don't have any of them hooked on. I had them on and I didn't like the way the bottom was sealing with the new injectors. I unhooked them and they seat fine and do not leak.

The rail is not going any where. What about the aftermarket rails, the injectors are not held in by clips either.

Those clips are not serviced by GM. I just looked in the catalog.

This is why i didn't have them. I pulled my aftermarket rails off. The aftermarket rails have longer "bores" in them.


If GM can't even get them, how are they replaced? Or do they only come with a new set of injectors?
