Well all i can say is the LG cam was definitly worth the money!!! Not only do i have 445 RWHP and 405 TQ but the idle is AWESOME!! i will get wave files up as soon as i get a buddy's digital camera... I was at Bloomington Gold this weekend and EVERYONE that heard it wanted to know what cam and exhaust i had!! so it definityly turns heads now!! its not just another EB Z06 anymore!! ( side track 67 L88 vette with 12 miles.. yes that is correct.. 12 miles with original window sticker still on the window!! auctioned for 615K....) I am sure everyone wants to know the setup so here goes...
02 Z06 stock with VARARAM at 2k mi dynoed 364hp (512 on spray)
ADDED
LG X2 on 114 (first one made) package, springs, retainers, push rods and comp "R" lifters
GTP stage 2 plus LS6 heads 2.0in 1.55 ex ( i think)
Stainlessworks Headers
Corsa Ti Street system ( no cats ) still a little loud, would be perfect with stock muflers.
ATI underdrive pulley
SLP double roller T chain and Oil pump.
MANY THANKS to Jeremy(GODSPEED) and Lou for the LS1 Edit file... if you buy the package they will sell you a file that "gets you in the ball park" ..... since the show was going this weekend and my buddy was going to be here Larry at Speed Inc as well as Jim their tuner agreed to do an after hours tune on friday since their schedule was booked until the END of July!!! ( MANY thanks to Jim and Larry for helping me out!!! Speed Inc is a first rate shop here in Chicago!!! well for me VERY first pull made 445!!!! Jim's face was worth a 1000 words once the numbers popped up. i was not really sure about power as it just did not feel as good as my stock setup.... so i speculated 415 hp baseline before tune.. ( i didn't want to speculate to high for disappointment sake) and Jim said 425 ish..... so we did a pull and the AFR was dead nuts 13.0 to 12.8 and made 445 RW.. needless to say thats what i wanted from it in the first place and was VERY happy!!! ( also highest 346 stock bottom end NA street car through mufflers on their dyno to date) so just goes to show my butt meter was not very accurate!! LOL it did feel stronger but the added noise took away from the feel i think.... my buddy from Dallas was up here this weekend ( Mike Hefner )with his heads cam 99 FRC that makes 405 rw with a NOS 125 dry shot who was even with me NA and him on the spray... So needless to say i am extatic on my new setup!!! so nowI am porting a TB so i should get a few more hp out of it still.... and i did a spray pull..... 610 RWHP and 585RWTQ.. i should get that deep 10 sec run now!!
Thanks again to everyone that helped me out over the past week in making this car such a joy to drive!!!

I'd be interested in seeing a dyno graph, just to see how the curves compare to the same cam on a 112 LSA.
Very cool, though!! I don't suppose there is a way for you to get any sound clips of the idle, is there??

I am glad i did go through with the headache of installing the package i put together. although i will be payin someone to do it next time!! about 22 hours of work over 3 days in my buddies garage was a long haul.
the specs on the cam did not come with the cam.. but from what i have been able to gather 232 in 240 ex with 592 in and 600 ex on a 114.. the opening and closing points are the secrets that make this cam work... i am running pretty close Pto V clearance... stock head gasket and bolts AND we measured .015 was milled off the GTP heads..
Peak power was made from 6400 to 6700.. moving the rev limiter a few hundred more RPM would definitly help on the track but i am worried about breaking the stock rod bolts. but over all both the Tq and HP power band was smooth and works real well... so much so that i was not sure how much more power the car was making.. usually you cna feel a big cam like this come on hard and it is very linear for this style of cam... not to mention it drives suprisingly well!! this is my daily driver so i am in all kinds of traffic daily. the only issue so far is it is tooo loud.. i need to quiet it down a bit to keep the officers with no sense of humor in their car where they belong..
I am working on getting a wave file for the exhaust as well as how to get the dyno graph loaded for you guys to see.. i too would like to see a 112 graph with my 114 to compare..
I am going to Byron drag way next weekend i think to get some numbers.. hopefully the cluch will hold on for some good numbers.. any time yur comign this way Louis just let me know and we will hook up!!
