i believe predator z is the one that told me it would run best with a +4 timing on it

I wouldn't let the intake stop you from installing it. I'd run it w/ the LS1 intake.

I agree. Its not like you wont gain power. You just will gain even more once you do the intake. Also, I wouldnt worry about titanium retainers. Its nice to say you have them, but if you are spinning a stock bottom end fast enough to "need" them, you are already asking for trouble.
