i have the ms3 already in my car, and i love the cam. i cant wait to see what it does when matched with the 5.3s and port matched 90/90 once tax return arrives
theres tons of threads you say bout the ms3/5.3 combo. and there is maybe a reason you see more of those combos vs. the one you mentioned with the trak cam?

I had great results with the ms4 cam and i only have some patriot 5.3l heads and stock size gasket. If i was starting from scratch i would do the prc stage 2.5 5.3l heads and mill them down to 59 or 58cc and then flycut the pistons. I didnt millmy heads and dont have as much compression as you could so you would have even more power down low than i do. I swapped from the tsp 231/237 to the ms4 on a 110+4 and gained 25rwhp and tq down low and 60rwhp and 50tq up top. It made a huge difference. I also swapped to a fast 90/90 which wouldnt have helped the numbers down low.

of those 2 setups id go 5.3 and ms3
proven performance combo!
not that the ls6 and ms4 isnt but of those 2 w/ out flycutting or milling heads i think would be the better overall performer.
i was in the same boat as you just a few months ago
i was looking atthe ms3 and tsp's 233/239.\i ended up going w/ a custom cam very similar to the 233/239. im very pleased w/ my setup!
