C5R heads?

Will these heads work on a LS1 block with a LS1/6 intake? Also are they center or perimater bolt valve covers?

C5R heads require a custom intake manifold and have very small combustion chambers (39CC if my memory is working this morning). This will result in a race-gas-only C.R. unless custom, dished pistons are used.

Too much hassle for the gain vs. a good set of ported lS6 heads.

You wouldn't want to use a set of these on a std bore LS1, they simply wouldnt work.

LWA has a set of used ones set up for a solid roller and complete with titanium valves. Pretty much for high RPM use.

A single bare head goes for about $1200. There are not many shops that port these heads and the ones that do like Kaltech, they are about $5K not including the heads.
