Default Heads for MS3 Car
Well I'm ready to put some different heads on my car, and am wondering what kind of heads any other MS3 cars are running. Mods are in sig it is not my daily driver, I want some that will perform well in the 1/4. If any sponser have any deals going on right now I'd be interested also.

I had the PRC Stg 2.5 5.3 heads with the MS3 on my CETA

would the 2.5 5.3's be a better choice then the ls6's? I've heard they flow just a little better and raise the CR a bit.

I was also gonna change out the lifters for some LS7 lifters, is there anything else I should change out too for a head swap? Injectors maybe?

the 5.3's are 62cc w/ cr at 10.7:1 which do flow a little better than the ls6's 64cc

When I talked to TSP they said to go with the 5.3 2.5 with the MS3 cam. How does it drive cam only?

Runs just fine, tends to have a little erratic ideling once and a while but other then that all good.

TFS are some great heads but $$$(LOL). Ive had TSP LS6 and 5.3L stage 2.5 heads and are top notch work from tsp.

Who makes TFS? I'm leaning towards the TSP 2.5 5.3's just want some more imput first.

With the ms3 go with the 5.3 prc's with the ms4 go with the ls6's

I was thinking change the lifters out for some LS7 lifters and a 40 thousandths head gasket that should put me around 11.1 CR with the TSP 2.5 5.3 heads right? Should I be looking for bigger injectors too or would stock be ok?

The PTV is close with the 5.3/MS3 combo. Get up with TSP and see if the .040 gaskets will work. You might have to fly cut


If you go with the PRC Stg 2.5 5.3/MS3 combo MAKE SURE TSP knows you are using those heads with that cam
