to get my car around 401hp and 401ft lbs?
Right now I am at 393 hp and 374ft lbs. I have hte MS4 and walbro 255, with dual rate springs, flow tech headers and custom catback (a dual into single into dual, not my choice to have it done like that, cats only), stock injectors, mild ported heads (just smoothed them out). What can I do to break 400hp and 400ft lbs? Would bigger injectors do it or would I need more then that? I was thinkin some 36 pound and maybe some tsp true duals or something.
Thanks in advance,
Craig

ok, I want at least that in hp, I was just coming to edit my thread and ask about an under drive pulley. It is a T-56, that is also built up with steel shift forks and such.

Mine was a dyno jet dyno. Apparently bigger isn't always better lol. I think it may also be because you have much better headers then my POS ones. My car got stolen and crashed and the exhaust shop decided not to ask me how I wanted the exhaust done and they just threw some together, they got rid of my Hooker headers and put flowtechs on it and made that "custom exhaust"

I am going ot take my car back up there one day soon and try it out again and see if I can get over the 400 with the way I have it now. I think they could tune it a bit more yet. I want an underdrive pulley for sure then go up there and I will break 400 for sure then.

I'm in the same boat. I bought a MAF and might buy the underdrive pulley from Jeggs too. Then I'm gonna re-tune the bitch and see how she does. Hopefully she'll like that and pull past that, baby.....Hopefully she'll get freaky and like it.

LOL, I hear that man, I want my car to pull past it also, it just sounds so much better saying the car has 401hp as apposed to 393 lol. Did the MAF make any difference? Also, would different rocker arms help any, if so which ones should I get? I know I cant get anything to crazy since there is not much clearance with the MS4

I will have to see if I can find it actually. I am not totally sure where it ended up. I will go check one place, if it is not there, I have no idea where it ended up.

No luck, looks like I will have to get it re dynoed then. I will have to find a truck and trailer to borrow to take it to the dyno. It is to slippery out for it and to cold out and no insurance on it.

oh yea, for sure. Last time my nitrous solenoids were on and we couldn't figure out why it would all of a sudden run rich at WOT then I realized I never turned off the switch. So they only did 2 full pulls with it and it was after shop hours by the time they got it dialed in that much.

ported throttle body and an underdrive pulley should get you there.
or step up to a ported FAST intake...that should get you there and then some.
gonna be tough to get 27# of torque. even that cam with heads may be hard. it's just not a torque cam. although some small runner heads like the AFR 205s could do it.
the flowtech headers aren't hurting you that much...LTs are for the most part LTs. only small differences really, at least at our power levels.

Ok, sweet deal. I thought the stock wheels were fairly light, or do you mean some 16 inch? What material rims should I be looking for? I would also love to get the fast 90/90 setup but that is a lot of cash. I should probably buy new tires and some suspension parts to get the power to the ground a bit better, I think the Under drive pulley should do it. I think I am going to port my throttle body, just have to find the link again.
Thanks for all the help, that is why I love this site!!
