Good deal! I'm puttin mine together and will have it put in sometime in the summer. I'm not in too much of a hurry cuz I have no time for the install, just the building.

Hard break-in all day long. Start it, check for leaks, check fluid levels and head to the nearest dyno or deserted road.

The only thing I can see logic in is not running it on the highway for 500 miles. There are so many different points of view on this matter it just depends how you want your mind to think the motors break in was. Personally I would find the most stringent way and follow that so I know I broke it in the best way I could. When I have broken a new motor in after I built it I broke the rings in the way the chilton manual said. I thought it was a little crazy to take a new motor and punch it from 40 4 times and decelerate but it worked well.

I heat cycled mine, changed the oil, then drove it to the dyno.

I beat the hell out of mine, I didn't redline it but i did quite a few full throttle runs. I would tell you how it turned out but I only have 800 on it now, runs great so far though. Whatever you do, make sure you change the oil after 20 miles or so. It gets gunked up quick, I let some of the oil drain out of my filter so I could check it out and it looked like someone put glitter in there.

No, but I haven't thought about it before. I think I will make one though.
